Magma and pressure
The mantle plume’s heat makes magma, which the deep and the shallow chamber collect. The pressure gauge shows when you erupt, and how big the VEI will be.
Idle · a volcano from below
You don’t build the mountain from the outside, but from below.
Heat, magma, pressure, eruption: a volcano simulator with prestige layers, and a village grows on the ash at the foot of the mountain.
The heat of the mantle plume turns into magma, which collects in the deep and the shallow chamber. When the pressure reaches its critical value, the mountain erupts: it grows by a layer, and gives you tephra, the game’s currency, to spend on upgrades. You don’t build the mountain from the outside, but from below.
After an eruption a village settles at the foot, and when the alarm sounds, you decide whom to evacuate. The type of eruption changes too: lava flow, ash, pyroclastic flow, lahar, tsunami. The mountain develops through phases: caldera, hotspot migration, island chain.

Mantle plume, chambers, rock chemistry, volatiles, surface phenomena, the village and the conduit system.
From the Hawaiian type to Toba, with Strombolian, Plinian, St. Helens, Pinatubo and Tambora on the way, each with instructive historical texts.
Caldera collapse, hotspot migration, ocean basin and supervolcano, which is the game’s own ending.
It has three stages: village, town and port town. When the alarm sounds, you decide about the evacuation.
Besides Earth, Io, Mars and an icy moon can be yours too.
14 random events, 4 seasons, 5 voluntary handicaps and 5 challenges.
A 15-minute challenge in which everyone gets the same mountain.
Leaderboards, a shared chronicle and a world winter. It sends data only if you join with a nickname.

Keys: K erupt, E evacuate, D lava plug, T island map, H sound, 1–8 switch between the tabs.
Sound is off by default. The graphics use WebGL; on weaker devices the game switches to a simple drawing mode.
